Imbolc
A delightful Sabbat is upon us today - the first breath of spring is felt at this time. This year it’s the very first breath indeed, perhaps more in the nature of wishful thinking, we’ve not been very lucky with the weather so far this year.
This is the time of year to plant seeds for future growth, a traditional time for new Witches to be initiated, for plans to be laid and wishes to be made for the coming year.
Ah, Imbolc! For me this is the most hopeful and optimistic of the Sabbats - the promise of life renewed is fulfilled, and we look forward to new beginnings and the seasonal abundance that’s right around the corner…
