Right now I’m hating academic stuff with great passion, so I’m naturally leaning towards options which don’t involve it… but perhaps that’s just an effect of the current situation. I’ll have to wait until after some deadlines have been met to consider the implications of this more fully.
I just spent about two hours reading Hackles, an extremely good web comic. I read it right through from the start… now I feel a curious emptiness that there isn’t another two years’ worth of archives to go through.
Oh well, that means I can continue on my initial quest of the day (which saw some progress before I started surfing) – making some more of my dissertation work.
The question on a lot of people’s lips at the moment. Ross doesn’t seem to know where he wants to live next year, although he’s in the fortunate position of knowing what he’ll be doing during that year. I’m not. I don’t know if I’m going hither or thither or hin or yon or there or there or indeed over there. Practically, of course, I only have three real choices.

I thought I’d introduce you to two jolly chaps who live on top of my monitor.
So say hello to Tux, and, err… Tux.
This picture was actually taken by x3ja when he was mucking about with my camera, but it’s cute nonetheless.
Why? Because I got bored with them. This’ll stay until I have time to think up something else.
I know I change template disturbingly often, but hey, it’s good practice in case I have to design a real site some day.
