Fascinating, utterly fascinating
Well, I’m back, while I was away I had the great good fortune to be able to spend a shift with Northamptonshire Police. Friday night, so things were kind of busy, but we got a very good mix of jobs to go to, couldn’t have asked for a better shift to see what things are like really! Everything from following up calls about people acting suspiciously to looking for a missing section 3 patient to scraps outside bars and nightclubs.
Although almost every officer I was introduced to as being interested in joining the force said the same thing.
“Don’t”
Since they evaded questions relating to why they still do it despite that attitude, I suspect I should take that with a pinch of salt and make up my own mind. Best way, yes?
I take him out for a 12 hour shift (which ended up as 16.25 hours!) and i don’t even get a frickin’ mention! Throw me a frickin bone here! Hmph!
