Need I say more?

This site transferred to the new improved wonky last night. Hopefully everything’s now migrated correctly, although I note a little confusion between whether it’s www.alledora.co.uk or alledora.co.uk in the blog’s internal links. Both should work, but it would be nice if it could decide on one and stick to it, don’t you agree?

Email will be moving some time as well, as will, eventually, everything else hosted on wonky. I’ll do a proper blog entry some time I’m not so busy trying to catch up with my nanowrimo word count — I’m currently almost five thousand words behind pace.

I stayed up last night to start writing on the stroke of midnight, although actually with all the celebrating we were doing on IRC it was more like one minute past midnight before my fingers hit keyboard when the input focus was pointed at the gvim window containing my novel’s at-the-time empty file.

By the time I stopped, not much more than an hour later, I had 2,073 words. That’s quite a few more than I was expecting.

If only the rest of the novel could be expected to be this easy! Last night’s efforts will be up on the NaNoWriMo page very soon.

(EDIT) Actually it won’t, because there’re still a few embarrassing bugs in my story markup processor.
